This is effective in treating oedema.

It averts the hardening of the blood vessels there by preventing strokes & heart attacks.
It is anti-inflammatory, and fastens the healing of wounds specially the diabetic ulcers it brings about easy clotting of blood and hence is helpful in bleeding disorders.
